Dax Shepard admits wedding cost him $142

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, actor Dax Shepard revealed the details of his low-key wedding to now wife Kristen Bell. Dax admits that after watching Jimmy’s wedding back in July, he realized he wanted his wedding to go a different way.
“I’m a frugal person. Your wedding, when I was there, there were helicopters overhead. It felt like an episode of M*A*S*H,” Dax joked, adding, “I made a mental note when I watched that. I thought, ‘I’m going to go a different way.'”
Dax’s wedding seemed to be the exact opposite of Jimmy’s. It involved taking Kristen to the Beverly Hills courthouse and including gas, it cost him about $142. Dax also admitted that he does not even have a wedding ring for his bride. “I am going to follow your course, because you got your ring at Costco,” he joked to Jimmy.
Despite the small wedding, Kristen admits she is “still on a high” after marrying Dax. Earlier this week she revealed it feels exactly the same being married; the only thing different is that she gets to call Dax her husband. ~Brie Davis
