Former Disney star Demi Lovato, who appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, is defending herself after critics made cruel comments about her weight gain. The 19-year-old singer/actress dropped out of The Jonas Brothers/Demi Lovato Tour last year and spent three months in rehab to get help for a variety of emotional and physical issues, including an eating disorder and a propensity for cutting herself. Following her appearance, she wrote on Twitter: “I’ve gained weight. Get over it. That’s what happens when you get out of treatment for AN EATING DISORDER.” She later deleted the tweet and wrote: “Guess what, I’m healthy and happy, and if you’re hating on my weight you obviously aren’t.”

Demi Lovato was apparently unaware that her regular drug dealer was in the habit of using dirty drugs he obtained from Mexico, when she called him to her house.
Holly cleavage! that is a bit much for someone that young…
Good for Demi!
She deserves to be happy especially after all she’s been through!
Weight gain isn’t bad as long as you are still healthy and i think she looks beautiful.
Hate? Why would anyone say anything negative she looks incredibly hot.
As a mother of a teenaged daughter battling an eating disorder, i am appalled to hear the negative comments made about this young actress’ weight. I thought she looked beautiful, happy and healthy. Shame on them and I wish Demi ignores these people.
Curvy and healthy, Looking BEAUTIFUL!!
She looks great. If critics called her fat its because they couldnt get with her.
Looking good Demi, I like a little meat a lot more than skin on bones.
seriously …. as long as she is healthy eating right and exercise… who cares what size she is… she is meatier than before… considering someone that had a eating disorder encouragement is what she needs…
id tap that
She looks amazing. What a beautiful girl.
She is gorgeous. Too bad more women aren’t comfortable having some curves like that.
Some of her mental issues come from being teased/bullied when she was little because she had a weight problem and this is how people feel they need to treat someone who had confessed to having an eating disorder. The press can be so insensitive. So what if she gained weight. Isn’t her mental state more important than body type?
Why she is 18 and even with the gain she still look awesome in my honest opinion. too many ppl are obsessed with the skin and bones a typical star look anymore i swear.
