Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn split

Scarlett Johansson, 26, and Sean Penn, 50, have broken up. There was no immediate reason given for the split, though it was rumored as early as April that the relationship was winding down, with Scarlett sick of Penn’s controlling ways. When Penn attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote his new film, The Tree of Life, last month without Scarlett on his arm, speculation began to circulate that the affair was over. Scarlett turned to Penn immediately following the breakup of her marriage to Ryan Reynolds last December. For his part, Penn split from his wife of 14 years, Robin Wright, last year. He has a daughter, 20 and a son, 18 from his marriage.

Scar-Jo is exactly what is wrong with MANY but not all women today. They have something good, then they throw it away because their daddy didn’t lvoe them, some boy in 7th grade broke their heart, or Oprah told them to always be trading up. Unlike the movies she will not realize that there is nothing wrong with somebody who treats you right. SHe wants the bad boy for the challenge. She wants the drama, the fights, the idea of trying to tame the untameable. YIKES.
If these two can’t make it, there’s no hope for anyone else 🙁

7’s end up with 7’s, 8’s with 8’s so on and so on. There are only two major reasons why 5’s end up with 9’s, money and performance in the sack. Seeing as Sean Penn couldn’t nail down his old marriage I’m ruling out the second option and seeing as Sar-Jo is the 9 and they are both wealthy it was shocking they were ever an item to begin with.

I think this was just a rebound relationship for SJ, possibly even trying to make RR jealous. After all, RR is the playa ending one “marriage” with AM and filing for this divorce first.
IMHO there’s a difference with what women really want, and what they say they want. The truth is it’s a bit of both.
Jo-Anne, we do know what women want. Mel Gibson made a movie about it for us.
