Shorts is a hilarious new family comedy brought to you courtesy of director Robert Rodriguez. Rodriguez in no stranger to making family films; he directed the Spy Kids movies and The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D. His latest, Shorts, is about a young boy who discovers a colorful, wish-granting rock that causes chaos in the suburban town of Black Falls. When jealous kids and scheming adults try to get their hands on it, you can just imagine the chaos that ensues. Bonnie Laufer-Krebs recently traveled to Los Angeles to talk to some of the cast — Jon Cryer, James Spader, Jimmy Bennett, and Jolie Vanier — and writer director Robert Rodriguez, about working on this family-friendly movie.
