Academy Award Winner, Benicio Del Toro stars in the remake of the cult classic, The Wolfman.
Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) is a haunted nobleman lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins), Talbot sets out to find his brother…and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.
Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate.
As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself…one he never imagined existed.

wow now thats what i call a werewolf! are you paying attention twilight? LOL
For me I wouldn’t want twilight to be like this very violent movie. Now adays more and more people want it like this. But I was always keen on seeing very little or no violence in a movie! When I was in my teens and early 20’s there were exceptions of seeing violent movies. But they were few and far between! It so happens I saw the Original movie of Werewolf and it wasn’t That violent but I bet you any $ that this one will be! But its Not always the content that you want to see a movie for!
I have seen the original Wolfman as well as the original frankenstein, mummy movies and dracula. Now what he said was here is how you make a real werewolf not how you make a werewolf kill scene or a dismembered body after a werewolf attack. I have to agree with him though as a horror movie fan what Twilight has done to some of our cult monsters is an outrage. Even if the author didn’t intend for these new monsters to change our few on how the originals acted or were portrayed it still will. Millions of teens, young adults and adults went to see and loved these movies and that is our next generation of Film makers so this will for sure change things. Monsters are supposed to look fearsome and look like they will do violent things not sparkle in the sunlight and shapeshift into care bears.

This movie may or may not be violent. And if it is, then it is fitting, considering it is about a man who turns into a savage wolf, which is the story. For it to be love dovey crap like twilight with big wolves who just want peace would be a bit of an insult to the original story of the wolfman.
I would rather watch this than a movie where the vocabulary consists of one word which is the four letter word and how many different phrases it can be used. Is this word used for shock value or do they not teach english in schools. Just curious!
looks great every time Benicio Del Toro steps in front of the camera he’s amazing and I don’t think this movie will be an exception

this trailer is extremely captivating, I like the 3 main actors and plan to be in the theatre when it opens…
they’ve captured the entire eerie flavour of the background, nicely done…
I liked the trailer. The cast seems great. It does make me want to watch the original again. It’s been so long since I’ve seen it. Dorian Grey looks good as well.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula was great. Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein was great, in my opinion. This one looks as though it will be good (not just for the gore or the cool were-wolf, but the characters seem interesting).
It makes me hope that a big budget H.P. Lovecraft movie is in the works. Thoughts anyone?
Yeah, this does look good, I think I’ll take my oldest son to this one, he’ll love it.
