Jessica Simpson speaks about Mayer comments

Jessica Simpson will never forgive John Mayer for revealing raunchy details about their sex life. The pop star was horrified when she read the singer/songwriter’s recent Playboy interview, in which he branded her “sexual napalm.” John has since written to Jessica to apologize for the comments, but she has refused to reply, saying she feels “betrayed.” “Yeah, I couldn’t read the article,” an emotional Jessica told The Oprah Winfrey Show. “I heard about it and I saw some of the clips and stuff. I tried to read the article and I was so disappointed in him. “It made me so sad, and it was really discouraging because that’s not the John that I knew. I felt betrayed. I just, you know, I hope he gets his life together. He did apologize to me. I haven’t written back. I don’t accept it… I don’t resent him. I’m just going to let that go. That part of my life is over.” John and Jessica dated in 2006.

i think she needs to forgive him to get on with her own life. staying mad at someone makes you a very bitter person.

But did she really believe those things she said, or was she just trying to emulate Paris Hilton, who had such success acting as an airhead (supposedly Paris is smarter than she appears, but that isn’t raising the bar much).
