Michael Jackson’s son has vitiligo

Michael Jackson‘s son, Prince Michael, 13, has the same skin condition that his father suffered from, according to Michael’s older sister, LaToya Jackson. He’s beginning to show signs of vitiligo, in which patches of skin all over the body become lighter. She also said that of Michael’s three young children, he’s having the hardest time dealing with his father’s death. “Prince just doesn’t want to speak about it,” she told the Daily Mail. “I do worry about him very much.” As for Blanket, the youngest, she says, “He is just a very sad, shy little boy. He cries — he really does cry. It’s so painful for him. No one can bring his Daddy back and it hurts too much.” However, their sister Paris, “is doing very well,” and has posters of her father all over her bedroom walls. “She thinks and talks about her father all the time,” says LaToya. The children have been spending time with Omer Bhatti, 25, who was rumored to be Michael Jackson’s love child. The four have been photographed at various venues together, with the children looking very relaxed and playful in his presence. ~Alexandra Heilbron

I think LaToya needs to shut her big mouth and stop telling the familie’s personal information. If MJ’s son suffers from the same condition as his father, its his business if he wants to share that with the world.
LaToya has always envied her siblings their spotlight because shes a no talent twit who will always be a wannabe. She has just eaten all this publicity up with a spoon and seems to love that the media is coming to her for the family gossip. The family should cut her off if she can’t respect their privacy.
When you conssider that the kid’s real name is “Prince Michael II”, the nickname “Blanket” does not seem so bad.
I am with BM on the whole Latoya thing. She is just eating all this publicity up, and it’s sad that she has to do it at the death of her own brother!! Let poor Micheal rest in peace and leave his kids ALONE!! to mourn him.
Totally agreed, I highly doubt these kids want her going to the media and blabbing about exactly how they are handling things. It’s THEIR business, not HERS. If they want people to know, they’ll let people know.

So Nathan, who’s really the idiot? Kids don’t want publicity and if you think they do then you need a little reality check. Obviously you’ve never had kids. They just want to live their lives and have fun. They would probably like their auntie to shut her mouth and keep their private lives private. Instead shes out soaking up attention and yapping to anyone who’ll listen. She’s psycho and all you have to do is look up a little of her history to see that. The family should reign her in or cut off her access to the children if she can’t keep a lid on it.
These kids are in mourning and will be for a long time. They deserve privacy and respect. Oh, and while we’re on the subject of the kids, Moon Unit, Apple, Jett, Ocean, Rumor, Kyd, and the daddy of them all, Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q 9(Bono’s kid) makes Blanket look tame.
As for LaToya, let her go out and do another Playboy spread if she wants the spotlight, but she should stop exploiting her brother’s children. She’s an opportunist, simple as that.
My prayers go out to you kids for the loss of your father. May your family find peace amidst the mayhem.
Nathan, I believe Chocklit is right. The boys name is Prince Michael II and is nicknamed ‘Blanket’. The other son is Prince Michael I.
These kids will grow up and publish a memoir…then he world can get rest over it all…until then… try and ignore the hype… Their father couldn’t have privacy or family peace…it ruined his life..must his children (biological or not) suffer the same hassles from the media and the same family that drove Michael away from their abusive … somehow the poor man thought his mother was all innocent… perhaps, because she was a victim too of her husbands madness for money money…
Well I can think of other names that are worse then Prince and Blanket…like Dweasel and Moon unit Zappa!!
Soe people need to just give it a rest with the damn names, because they were named after members of the Jackson family, Prince was MJ’s grandfathers name, and Paris was also the name of MJ’s Grand mother.
Blanket is a nick name…and as MJ once said it signifies love, who don’t like being cuddled in a blanket? I get it!

And as far as the son having vitiligo, maybe it is actually true and the kids are really his! The Jackson have said many times that there family tree consists of white people in there blood as well as black, and yes vitiligo is hereditary!! Give the Jackson’s a break and stop being so judgmental!! They are no different then most of us!!

I don’t get it. Firstly, if they really were his kids–not likely–it’s impossible that, even if the mother was white and ALL of her ancestors were, all three children would have a white tendency. Secondly, vitiligo? in which patches of skin all over the body become lighter? If this is implying that Michael was white because of this disease people are more forgetful than I’d like to know F.Y.I PATCHES! NOT whole body and creepy nose collapses. Like it or not that was all surgery. In conclusion, it’s ilogical to assume–on both accounts–that the son would even possibly have vitiligo, it’s only for the publicity.
Actually a lot of people have vitiligo, so it isn’t unreasonable that his son would have it as well. And Michael publicly stated that it got to the point where it was easier to use whitening makeup to cover the brown skin, than vice versa. So he never said that he became white.
And of the three children, the youngest I would say is definitely his as he looks just like him, and I see similarities with the other two as well.
People, I am from Germany, and I have a neighbor who had a son which is really white. I was amazed when I came to see them and ask him is that your son? And he answered me, YES. Why he is very white? not like your color, your black but your face had similarity with him. What I asm pointing out here is that even Michael Jackson is black..offspring doesn’t need to be black somehow they have similarity that we could not see physically. Do you know BORIS BECKER the tennis champion. He is a German and look at his children one is black and the other son is white. What about that? The Mother is black and Boris becker is white.

I think I read somewhere that Michael said his dad is only half black. And also, some of his nephews and nieces (who have white mothers) appear white-skinned.
I can tell you for certain that it doesn’t matter what colour the parents, grandparents great grandparents even the great great grandparents are.Years ago a newly married couple moved into a apartment in a building my family lived in.The woman was pregnant,around 4 months later she went into labour and her husband took her to the hospital,to watch their child being born.They were both white as well as their parents,grandparents and great grandparents,well when the child was born it came into the world healthy and black.Needless to say daddy left the hospital came home packed his bags and left.He wanted a divorce,she insisted the child was his,the family feud was on.Well she demanded a DNA test be done before the divorce, and it came back as being his child.Both families were blaming the other,they went back 4 generations and found out HIS great great great grandfather on his dads side had married a black woman they had mulatto children.The next generation had white kids,and the next,pretty much they all had forgotten about the mixing of the two races from so many, many years ago.Her husband did the crying,crawling act,but to no avail as she could not forgive him for believing she would cheat on him,and that he walked out on her and his child so quickly!The reason for this story is,you never know what generation the mixing of races will come out in.So don’t be so quick to cast judgement on your partner,as you may not know just what your ancestors were up to!!!!!!!!! TRUE STORY. I should also add that I read somewhere, that MJ wore the one glove because that is where the skin first started to lose colour????.

I have to disagree. Peggy Lipton (Mod Squad actress) has two daughters with Quincy Jones (coincidentally, MJ’s music producer) and both girls look white. If you saw “I Love You, Man”, the younger daughter played Paul Rudd’s fiancee in that movie.
Rock’n on Dec 8,2009 2.29pm.I disagree with your theory,as I see it the 2 oldest have the same mother,they both have different shades of olive skin from each other.One being lighter than the other,as for the little one (different mom)Blanket,is definitely the darker skin colour,from the other 2 siblings.Another example my sis-in-law, blond hair,blue eyes white skin married a black man,they had 6 kids.The first 2 kids both dark skin,kinky brown hair,the next 1 totally black,with very tight frizzy black hair,next 1 olive-skin long straight hair,the last 2 both straight blond hair, blue eyes,and white skin.Really there is no pattern that comes with the mixing of different races!! That is up to a Higher Power,and Nature.Hell, just watch THE MAURY SHOW you learn alot there LOL!!!
