Moviegoer pelts candy at Alec Baldwin

By Alexandra Heilbron on October 12, 2010 | 11 Comments

Alec Baldwin was pelted with candy by a moviegoer who was furious the star was being noisy during a screening. The actor went to see the movie Blue Valentine on Saturday, as part of the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York. Alec reportedly kept using his phone during the film, much to the annoyance of those around him. “He was on his phone the whole time, and the light was disturbing others. But he stopped quickly once somebody started throwing M&M missiles,” a source told the New York Post.

didnt he supposedly call his daughter a thoughtless little pig on the infamous phone message? When the shoe fits…

Only M&m’s were thrown…it is a shame. Why not sharper objects?

I see what he did as completely disrespectful to those in the film. He should have been thrown out of the theatre.

Yep, everyone has to respect theatre etiquette – even if you’re Alec Baldwin (and the lights on cellphones are REALLY distracting in the theatre).

helen, yes they really are. people bother me soo much when they pull out their phone or talk during the movie, i PAID to watch the MOVIE not listen to you/watch you play on your friggen phone. im glad someone treated him as they would treat any person that wasnt famous!

I would love to pelt candy at Alec Baldwin. Whoever did it is a hero in my eyes. Ever since he left that abusive message for his daughter, I can’t even stand to look at a picture of the guy.

Throwing anything at anybody is a crime. He should have been thrown out of the theater. These ‘guys’ think that their shit don’t stink…they must realize that they are just the same as everyone else…they just act for a living. I wonder if anyone just asked him to shut the hell up?

The nerve of him. People paid to see a movie and don’t need some disrespectful celebrity ruining it for them, so matter who that celebrity may be.

It was wrong and kudos to the person who had guts enough to do something about it.

Something went to his head after he was rescued by Tina Fay for 30 Rock.
Otherwise he would still be in the dump.

    I would’ve thrown a shoe at him. (j/k)

If the movie starred himself, I’m sure he’d want and expect everyone to shutup and pay undivided attention to it!!!!
Such a pig needs a good spanking.

Alec shouldn’t have been on his phone in the movies. Lucky he just got pelted with candy and nothing else.
