Natasha Richardson died this afternoon after she was taken off life support at Lenox Hill Hospital at the request of her family. It was a sudden loss for her family, friends and fans. Alan Nierob, the Los Angeles-based publicist for Richardson’s husband Liam Neeson, confirmed her death in a written statement: “Liam Neeson, his sons (Micheal and Daniel), and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.” Richardson, 45, sustained a fatal brain injury after falling during a skiing lesson on a beginner slope in Quebec on Monday. In addition to her husband and young sons, she is survived by her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, her sister, Joelly Richardson, her aunt, Lynn Redgrave and her uncle, Corin Redgrave, all noted performers.

Liam Neeson stars as a father out for revenge when his son is murdered by a drug cartel. He slays in this action pic, offers up plenty of blood and gore.
Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers, as they deal with this loss.
