The Last Voyage of the Demeter – Based on a single chilling chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula, The Last Voyage of the Demeter tells the terrifying story of the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo—50 unmarked wooden crates—from Carpathia to London.

Strange events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship. Killing their livestock, stalking those on board, and attempting to bring them down, Dracula haunts the ship. Click here for showtimes.

Toopy and Binoo: The Movie – Although they live a happy life, an escalation of blunders causes Toopy and Dorothy to accidentally make Binoo’s beloved stuffed animal Patchy-Patch disappear. The trio immediately set out to find the fabulous land of “The Lost and Found” to search for Patchy-Patch. Click here for showtimes.

Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story – Teenage Gran Turismo player Jann Mardenborough earns a spot in a Nissan trial due to his gaming skills. He manages to win a series of competitions that will allow him to become an actual professional race car driver. However, in a video game when you make a mistake you reset, in real racing when you make a mistake you could die. Early access screenings in select cities, opens wide on August 25. Satan Wants You – A feature documentary following the “Satanic Panic” of the 1980s, which ignites when a psychiatrist and his patient write a memoir, Michelle Remembers, wherein her recovered-memory therapy reveals that she was abducted by baby-stealing Satanists as a child. When Morning Comes – After his widowed mother decides to relocate their family from Jamaica to Canada, young Jamal Sutherland Jr. (Djmarai Roberts) runs off to spend time with his best friend, the girl he likes, and his substitute father figures. Playing in select cities. Click here for showtimes.

The Beasts – A middle-aged French couple moves to a Galician town, where they operate an organic farm in the Spanish countryside. Seeking closeness with nature, their presence inflames two locals, the Anta brothers, to the point of outright hostility and shocking violence. Playing in select cities. Click here for showtimes.

Passages – After completing his latest project, filmmaker Tomas (Franz Rogowski), feeling neglected by his husband Martin (Ben Whishaw), begins a heated love affair with Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos). As Tomas falls in love with her, he encourages Martin to see other people as well. But when Martin begins his own affair, Tomas has mixed feelings. The Monkey King – A monkey (Jimmy O. Yang) who never felt like he fit in with regular monkeys, sets out on a journey to defeat 100 demons and get the attention of the gods. Teaming up with a human apprentice, he must defeat the toughest powers while finding who he is along the way. Playing in Toronto and Vancouver, and premieres on Netflix on August 18.

The Pod Generation – In the near future, New York couple Rachel Novy (Emilia Clarke) and Alvy Novy (Chiwetel Ejiofor) get involved with tech giant Pegazus. Pegazus offers the opportunity for women who are reluctant to have children due to the inconvenience, to focus on their dreams and their careers while still becoming mothers, by creating The Pod. Rachel struggles to connect with their pod while Alvy, who wanted a natural birth, develops a bond with the growing baby. Playing in Kanata and Whitby. Click here for showtimes.
