The Foreigner Blu-ray and DVD ComboAction thrillers, chilling horrors and heartfelt dramas are what you can find in this week’s new Blu-ray and DVD releases. Watch Jackie Chan get revenge for his daughter in The Foreigner, follow Gerard Butler as he tries to fix a malfunctioning satellite program in Geostorm and more. The Foreigner – When Quan (Jackie Chan) drops his 15-year-old daughter, Fan, off at a London boutique in order to buy a dress for school, a bomb goes off in the street, killing Fan and several other people. Quan seeks out Deputy Minister Liam Hennessy (Pierce Brosnan), but when the man refuses to help him, Quan goes after a group calling themselves The Authentic IRA, which claims responsibility for the bombing, in order to get revenge for his daughter’s death.

Thank You for Your Service – An American soldier stationed in Iraq, Adam Schumann (Miles Teller) has a talent for knowing where bombs have been placed. When his tour ends, he’s awarded for his heroism, and is happy to be home with his wife (Haley Bennett) and children. However, he’s having a hard time with what he experienced and witnessed during his time of active duty, as are his fellow soldiers.

Geostorm – Jake Lawson (Gerard Butler) is a satellite designer who is responsible for building a satellite program named Dutch Boy, which controls weather around the world. When he’s fired from his job and three years later, Dutch Boy starts malfunctioning and causing deadly weather patterns, Jake is brought back to fix the problem, but it turns out Dutch Boy isn’t the only problem.

Goodbye Christopher Robin – When British playwright A. A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) moves his family to the country, he finds inspiration for a series of books for children in his young son, Christopher Robin, and the boy’s beloved stuffed bear.

Jigsaw – The bodies of people, each with a piece of flesh carved out, are turning up. The M.O. is that of John Kramer (Tobin Bell), also known as Jigsaw, but he’s been dead for over a decade. The investigators assume it’s the work of a copycat, until the autopsies show that the blood found under the fingernails of the victims belongs to Jigsaw.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer – Dr. Steven Murphy (Colin Farrell) is a renowned surgeon with a wife (Nicole Kidman) and two children. Steven takes a patient named Martin (Barry Keoghan) under his wing since the young man lost his father and brings him home to meet his family. Soon, Martin’s unsettling behavior makes Steven nervous, especially when strange events start to take place.

Chasing the Dragon – Infamous real-life drug kingpin Crippled Ho (Donnie Yen) arrives in Hong Kong in 1963 as an illegal immigrant and ruthlessly carves an empire from the chaotic underworld of drug dealers and corrupt police that ruled the city under notorious detective Lee Rock (Andy Lau).

Beyond Skyline – When people in Los Angeles are suddenly sucked up into alien ships without warning, Detective Mark Corley (Frank Grillo) has to find a way to rescue his son, who was one of them. After getting on board a ship himself, it crashes it in Southeast Asia. He must forge an alliance with a band of survivors to discover the key to saving his son and taking back the planet.
