NSYNC’s VMA reunion may have originally been longer

Justin Timberlake‘s former *NSYNC bandmates were reportedly “upset” that their segment on Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards was cut short. According to Us Weekly, a source said that former members – Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez – were disappointed with Justin’s decision to not include a medley of their past hits as a group. “They were pushing for more,” the source told Us. “While he was thrilled they could come for him, he didn’t want the reunion to be the whole thing. They originally were told that it was going to be more of their old hits, not just Bye Bye Bye — but then Justin reworked it.” After Justin sang a medley of his solo hits, *NSYNC emerged on stage to perform a quick number of their 2000 hit song Bye, Bye, Bye. Despite the short time duration, the source claims that there was no drama after the performance. “They loved being all back together. It felt like the old days!” ~Alfonso Espina
