Oprah weighs in on Chris Brown and Rihanna

On her show on Friday, Oprah opened up about her feelings concerning Rihanna’s reconciliation with Chris Brown after he allegedly viciously beat the 21-year-old singer. Here’s what she had to say: “Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I was your friend, I would call you up and I would say, ‘Give it some time, get yourself some counseling, take care of yourself. Heal yourself first.”’ She additionally advised, “And also, love doesn’t hurt. I’ve been saying this to women for years: ‘If a man hits you once, he will hit you again.'”
all i can say is, “well explained, oprah!!!”
hit me once shame on you hit me twice shame on me. when she does get the snot beat out of her again. it will be her fault and she will deserve it, i have no compassion for stupid woman.

well maybe, even though I am sure many many others have pointed exact same out to Rihanna, because her “friend” Oprah publicly states this – she will listen?????? I have my doubts.
I’m doubting it too, Rhianna will likely go down the same road as many abused women, dumping him, then listening to all his sweettalk, then forgiving him and believing him, then taking him back, and the cycle continues. What a shame. I hope she wakes up before it’s too late and he does irreparable damage.

Come on guys it’s the Almighty Oprah she knows and sees all…it was her and her alone who got Obama elected don’t you know.
Oprah should realize teens don’t listen, and that they’re driven by hormones.

i agree with oprah (lol@me trying to spell it as operah) but, i also agree with just about everyone here. clearly rhianna is going to be an idiot and stay with him for a very long time.
