Elijah Wood – Sin City

From child star to the savior of Middle-earth in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Elijah Wood seemingly had a certain type of character pegged for him. Those qualities would typically involve youthful inquisitiveness and innocence, but that would change drastically in Robert Rodriguez' film adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel Sin City. In an unexpected turn, Wood appears in the film during the segment "The Hard Goodbye" as Kevin, a cannibalistic serial killer. Needless to say, the role was quite a shock for audiences who had witnessed him as Frodo Baggins just two years prior. However, Wood brought such a creepy factor to this role that he instantly stood out amongst the film's ensemble cast, making him one of the film's more memorable characters.
