Chris Farley – Shrek

Like the late Heath Ledger, Chris Farley had already begun recording voice work for DreamWorks Animation's Shrek before unexpectedly passing away. Even though Farley had already completed an estimated 80 to 90 percent of his voice work, the decision to replace Farley completely was made by casting the title role of Shrek with Mike Myers. Although many would still love to hear Farley's original recordings for the role, it's hard to imagine anything else but Myers' Scottish accent as the voice of the big green ogre.
