Dougray Scott – X-Men

How different would the X-Men franchise be today had the film's original choice for Wolverine panned out? Hugh Jackman made the role his own over the course of 17 years, but he only got the part by chance after Dougray Scott had to drop out early on in the production. When the shooting schedule on John Woo's Mission: Impossible II was prolonged, Scott, who played a major role in the film, wasn't free to begin filming the role of Wolverine.
