Isle of Dogs (2018)

Director/screenwriter Wes Anderson has proven he can do anything. Although most of his films are live action, with actors clamoring to be part of them, he also occasionally ventures into animation, as with Isle of Dogs (91 percent Rotten Tomatoes approval rating), about a boy searching for his dog. It received nominations from the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and the BAFTAs, and Anderson was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival. If you like quirky comedies, you will love the deadpan humor you'll find not only in this film, but in all of Wes Anderson's films.
