Jaimie Alexander – Thor: The Dark World

Accidents can happen at any moment and even if you get through a whole day of filming, it doesn’t mean you’re safe from injury. That was a lesson learned the hard way by Thor: The Dark World star Jaimie Alexander. While filming on the London set for the MCU sequel, it was reported that Alexander suffered an injury that would keep her out of action for a month. She later revealed in an interview that the injury was a result of falling down a metal staircase one dark, rainy morning. The fall caused a slipped disc in her thoracic spine, 11 chipped vertebrae, a dislocated shoulder, and a tear in her rhomboid.
