Linda Hamilton – Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Many times injuries on set are caused by human error—as was the case for Linda Hamilton during filming of the hit sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In the scene in which John Connor and the T-800 rescue Sarah Connor, there is a sequence in which the trio is being hunted by Robert Patrick's T-1000 in an elevator. While filming this sequence, Hamilton fires her handgun several times into the roof to slow down their pursuer, but in doing so caused permanent hearing damage in one of her ears, as she wasn't given earplugs to wear at the time.
