Sylvester Stallone – The Expendables

As a near lifelong action star, injuries have come naturally to the Hollywood icon. While filming his 2010 action flick The Expendables, a nostalgic nod to action movies of yesteryear, Sylvester Stallone suffered a number of serious injuries throughout the shoot, while also going through bouts of bronchitis and shingles. Among his injuries were a broken tooth, a ruptured ankle, and most seriously of all a hairline fracture to his neck that would require the surgical insertion of a metal plate. Even at the age of 63 at the time of filming, Sly wasn't taking it easy on himself.
