Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2011)

Another horror-comedy classic of the past decade, this selection could have gone to the just as enjoyable The Cabin in the Woods, but Tucker and Dale deserves the spotlight more. The subversion and role reversal of the cabin in the woods trope was only successful thanks to the brilliant casting of Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine as the titular Tucker and Dale. Lovably naive and charming, the two are just looking to enjoy their newly owned cabin when trouble befalls them by prejudicial teenagers who envision them as redneck monsters. Equal parts gory and hilarious, Tucker and Dale deserves a bigger audience.
