Candyman

This sequel to the 1992 cult classic easily has to be one of the most anticipated horror films that was sadly delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the film's fantastic trailer, expectations could have only risen higher, and Marvel's decision to hire Candyman director Nia DaCosta for their Captain Marvel sequel only further validates that anticipation. With the rise and popularity of Black horror films, Candyman can only add to this new wave in the genre, while being a great film in its own right. It's definitely the kind of crowd-pleasing horror film to get audiences riled up in their seats.
