And now we come to the first of many Game of Thrones stars who tried their hand at Hollywood looking to capitalize on the HBO series' success. While Kit Harington's focus has mostly been on Game of Thrones for a majority of the last decade, his first real attempt at being a Hollywood star came with the leading role in Paul W.S. Anderson's attempt at a swords-and-sandals epic in Pompeii. The film was neither a hit with audiences or critics. Since then he's mostly appeared in supporting roles, with a few leading ones in smaller non-Hollywood projects. However, now that Game of Thrones is complete, he may attempt another shot at Hollywood stardom with his role of Dane Whitman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film The Eternals.
