Aaron Taylor-Johnson

After seemingly coming out of nowhere, Aaron Taylor-Johnson announced himself in a big way with Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of the Mark Millar comic Kick-Ass. The English actor quickly enamored himself with North American audiences and he landed major role after major role including in films such as Oliver Stone's Savages, Gareth Edwards' Godzilla, the Kick-Ass sequel, as well as joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, since then Taylor-Johnson has appeared less and less in major blockbusters and has instead taken a less mainstream route. He's appeared in major/leading roles, but in lower profile projects like Nocturnal Animals, The Wall, and Outlaw King. This career choice for Taylor-Johnson feels more like him stepping out of the spotlight rather than anything else, but all the same his time as a leading man in major motion pictures has likely come to an end.
