Knightley has had an interesting career beyond the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, as she’s starred in a number of awards hopeful films and indie darlings. Her two nominated performances came in 2006 and 2015 for Pride & Prejudice and The Imitation Game. Unfortunately, Knightley lost out both years, to Reese Witherspoon’s performance in Walk the Line and Patricia Arquette in Boyhood.
