Iron Man: Terrence Howard – Don Cheadle

Iron Man was the first Marvel film to be made that really set up the whole superhero epic on screen. Terrence Howard played Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, also known as “War Machine” in the comics. Following the success of the first Iron Man movie, Terrence Howard wanted to renegotiate his contract and get more money for the sequel. Marvel was having none of it and insisted he stick to his original contract. When Terrence refused, Marvel cast Don Cheadle in the role.
