Atomic Blonde (2017)

Ever since his work with Chad Stahelski on the first John Wick, director David Leitch has been an in-demand director. His first solo effort outside the Wick franchise was Atomic Blonde with Charlize Theron, and he brought his vision and action sensibilities to the film. Of particular note is the extended stairway fight sequence, which is every bit as exciting and thrilling as any sequence in John Wick. It’s no surprise then that Leitch was brought on for Deadpool 2 and the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, which may eclipse Atomic Blonde as Leitch’s best action film of the decade.
