Easy Rider

Two men and two bikes set off across America in hopes of reaching New Orleans in time for Mardi Gras. The two main characters, Wyatt, played by Peter Fonda, and Billy, played by Dennis Hopper, are an homage to Wyatt Earp and Billy the Kid. A movie filled with drugs, hippies and all the debauchery expected of a biker movie, Easy Rider has an underlying message that financial success, while exciting, is not as fulfilling as spiritual freedom.
