Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure

Filmed by The Mighty Ducks director Stephen Herek, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is a hysterically funny movie that shows time travel at its silliest. Set in the distant future, we come to find that humanity has developed into a Utopian society that worships the “Two Great Ones”:  Mr. Bill S. Preston and ‘Ted’ Theodore Logan. The leaders of the future send a servant back to 1988 to make sure Bill and Ted pass history class and hilarity ensues when the goofy duo use a phone booth-converted-time machine to visit a roster some of history’s widely known figures. Bill and Ted, played by Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, would appear again in the sequel Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey and with a third untitled film announced for a 2014 release, it appears the slackers’ journey is far from over.
