Pale Man (Pan’s Labyrinth) – 2006

You'd never know a human (Doug Jones) played the nightmarish Pale Man in Guillermo del Toro's three-time Oscar-winning fantasy film Pan's Labyrinth. The horrendous creature with slimy, saggy, elastic skin and an insatiable appetite for vulnerable young children is so other-worldly and depraved that one couldn't be blamed for believing CGI to be totally responsible for his existence. With his eyeballs in the middle of his palms, Pale Man is quite possibly the most imaginative, albeit revolting, monster in this gallery, and most definitely del Toro's eeriest creation.
