The Crow (1994)

The tragedy of what happened on the set of The Crow (1994) is now, sadly, legendary. It was the fateful scene in which the film's main character, Eric Draven (played by Brandon Lee, the son of legend Bruce Lee, who died at 33), was to be murdered by thugs as he walked into his apartment. Unfortunately, prop masters didn't realize that the lead tip of a bullet was lodged in the weapon. So when a dummy bullet was shot out, it dislodged the lead tip, which fired into Brandon's abdomen. The shot was eerily precise, and he died not long after. He was only 28. Not only did Brandon die at the moment his character was supposed to, but his character had an impending wedding, which Brandon did as well — he was due to marry his fiancée, Eliza, later that year.
