The Princess Diaries

One of the more unconventional homes seen in the movie really is a residential space. Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway), before she learned she was a princess, lived in a firehall-turned-home in San Francisco with her mom. It's partially too good to be true, as the filmmakers only used the exterior shots in the movie, but based their interior set on the massive space inside. You can really live there, though. The property was once used as a firehall but was converted into a residential property in the late 1970s. It was last on the market in 2014 and sold for $1.85 million USD.
