A young scientist named Henry Frankenstein has pieced together a creature from the parts of human corpses in the movie Frankenstein (1931). Although the monster (Boris Karloff) receives the brain of a criminal, he’s actually a reserved, misunderstood and emotional creature who only commits acts of violence out of fear and despair. He is desperate to find someone else like himself, and a sense of belonging in a world, where people only see him as a terrifying creature.
