Parasite (2019) – Thriller, Comedy and Drama

Bong Joon-ho’s Oscar-winning film is quite simply a great film. It’s not great because it fits into one genre, but quite the opposite. Bong expertly weaves his narrative into various genres, from comedy to thriller to drama and eventually tragedy, without ever creating a sense of tonal confusion in the audience. Parasite is a film for the ages, and one with so much re-watchability thanks to the scope of its narrative that is better experienced, than summarized with words.
