The Cabin in the Woods (2012) – Horror and Comedy

The old adage of good things come to those who wait is quite appropriate for Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon’s instant classic from 2012. After having its release delayed for over two years due to various circumstances, their meta horror-comedy proved to be a big hit with audiences. While seemingly following the typical storyline of five college friends going on break at a remote cabin only to be met with a horrible surprise, the film takes many unexpected turns, often resulting in equal amounts of shock and humor as you slowly unwind the puzzle that was laid before you.
