Quarantine (2008)

REC is a 2007 Spanish found footage-style horror film that was remade with Quarantine. The lead protagonist has the same name in both versions. The Hollywood version doesn’t differ much from the Spanish version. Both follow the storyline of a reporter and her cameraman who are working the late night beat for a TV series on firefighters and the chain of events in Quarantine mimics REC, right to the final scene.
