Thelma and Louise – Thelma & Louise

Two working class stiffs. Best friends. Road trip. But with a difference. Thelma & Louise turned the action adventure genre on its head when it made a buddy flick starring two women, who got to shoot guns and take part in car chases. Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon play Thelma and Louise respectively and what started out as a weekend getaway turns deadly for them. They become wanted. They go on the run and eventually make a decision that bonds them in life and death.
