Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange

Before his current wave of popularity, Benedict Cumberbatch’s work was mostly on TV in a career that dates back to 2002. His first notable film role was in the British rom-com Starter for 10 in a supporting role as Patrick Watts. The movie also starred James McAvoy (pictured above at left), who went on to play young Charles Xavier in the X-Men series of films.
