All My Babies' Mamas separates itself from the other shows on this list in one way. It's just as absurd, but the executives of Oxygen, the network scheduled to air it in 2013, pulled the plug before a single episode ran. It was dropped because of the negative stereotypes and glamorization of premarital sex that it was accused of perpetuating, a wise choice considering the premise. The show was intended to star rapper Shawty Lo and feature his lifestyle as a father of 11 children birthed by 10 different women.

The fact that this show at one point received the green light -- and had money to back it -- is a frightening reality.
