It was love at first sight in 1995 for Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas on the set of their romantic comedy Two Much. However, both were actually married to different people at the time, and had to wait until their respective divorces were finalized before they could marry each other in May 1996. As their union continued well into the 21st century, it looked as though theirs was one of the few rock solid Hollywood marriages. But in June 2014, after nearly 18 years of marriage, Melanie and Antonio announced their impending divorce, citing the oft-used "irreconcilable differences." However, unlike most celebrity splits, they claimed they were separating "in a loving and friendly manner," and even filmed a movie together (Automata) in the midst of their split.
