Hammerheads largely eat other sharks, so the myth that sharks are vicious, man-eating predators, is just that: a myth. You are more likely to be killed by a vending machine than you are a shark. In fact, pigs kill 10 times more people than sharks do. On average, five people are killed by shark bites each year. So this makes sharks one of the least dangerous large predators on Earth.
