The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug

The second installment of his Peter Jackson’s epic trilogy continues the story of hobbit Bilbo Baggins, the great wizard Gandalf, and the Dwarves, after they escape the Misty Mountains and continue on their journey towards the treasure that is guarded by the Dragon Smaug. Based on J.R.R. Tolkein’s seminal novel The Hobbit, it follows the events of An Unexpected Journey, the first film in the trilogy that will continue with next year’s There and Back Again.
