Jennifer Lawrence – Red Sparrow (2018)

Jennifer Lawrence is one of the biggest movie stars of our time, but one thing she clearly struggles with is a Russian accent. On the list of the things that did not work for Red Sparrow, Lawrence's Russian accent is near the top. In a movie in which Russian characters speak English together for some reason, Lawrence's poor Russian accent harmed what was already a bad movie. However, in contrast to Harrison Ford's  half-baked attempt at a Russian accent in K-19: The Widowmaker, Lawrence at least commits to her character.
