Pitt jumped by fan in Venice

While making an appearance at the Venice Film Festival to promote his new film, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Brad Pitt was assaulted by a crazed fan. The woman broke through a security cordon and ran straight at the actor, throwing her arms around Pitt’s neck before being dragged away by security. “[Pitt’s] security team must have been embarrassed that she was able to get that close to him,” an onlooker told The Daily Mail of London. “She could have been anyone. Brad didn’t look happy about it at all.” The woman later said she just wanted to give Pitt a hug.
