Russell Brand denies being a “bridezilla”

Russell Brand has denied being a “bridezilla,” insisting the only magazines he reads have naked women in them. The British comedian is engaged to American singer Katy Perry. In March, Katy joked Russell was so excited about their big day he kept buying bridal magazines, which he pored through for ideas. She called him a “bridezilla” who was obsessed with picking the color schemes and flowers for their wedding. Russell, who’s currently starring in the comedy Get Him to the Greek, insists that isn’t the case, although he takes his fiancée’s teasing in good humor. “She likes saying things like that. It makes her so happy to go on radio shows and disparage my good name,” he explained. “If I pick up a magazine that’s got women in it they are usually not married, or about to be married, or ever going to get married. Because they work in the porn industry.”
