Sandra Bullock preparing for divorce

Sandra Bullock, who had been in her hometown of Austin, Texas, where she was being comforted by friends and family for the past week has returned to California and is living at the Hollywood Hills property she purchased in 2001, prior to her marriage to Jesse James. She apparently kept the $1.48 million mansion even after she’d moved to another home in Sunset Beach to live with Jesse. Now that four of James’ alleged mistresses have been exposed — tattoo model/stripper Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, stripper Melissa Smith, photographer Brigitte Daguerre and an unnamed mistress represented by high-powered lawyer Gloria Allred — a source close to the actress told Popeater.com that she’s back in California to get a divorce. “It’s over,” a friend told the gossip website. “After everything that has happened, it is impossible for them to get back together, even though I’m sure she still loves the man she thought he was.” Another insider said, “Sandra has returned home to face the problem head-on. She isn’t the sort of woman to bury her head in the sand and hope everything will go away. As painful as this is going to be, expect Sandra to cut out the cancer very soon.”
