Scarlett Johansson was making her way into NYC club National Underground the other night with her fiancé, Ryan Reynolds, wearing matching bowler hats, according to the NY Post’s Page Six. However, when one of the doormen at the club asked if he could take a photograph of the actress, who, according to a source was “dressed down in a black blazer and jeans,” she snapped “I’m not the Statue of Liberty!” and continued her way inside. Wait, doesn’t wearing matching bowler hats qualify you as a circus act, though?
I am quite sure the Statue of Liberty would choose a more conservative understated lip shade…being in the public eye 24/7 and all
And I would think that the Statue of Liberty has far less attitude and welcomes the attention of New Yorkers (not to mention she is a better actress with her cameos in “Ghostbusters” and “Cloverfield” than Johansson).
Good one, Jo-Anne! I needed a good laugh today
Well go figure! I like her lipstick, it co-ordinates quite nicely with her dress and she has the nice fair skin to go with it. I don’t get off on her attitude though, even though she is right…there is more to life than just standing around (like the statue of Liberty) and having your photo taken. She was clubbing!!!
The Statue of Liberty has class….so yah, I guess what she said IS the truth, she’s no statue.
PS…The Other Boylen Girl sucked!!
The movie butchered the book big time.
Personally, I always liked the statue of liberty. It`s a great national monument built by the French and as a statue Lady Liberty doesn`t mind when admirers take her picture.Ms. Johansson on the other hand, whether pressed for time or not may not feel she needs to deign to give fans the time
of day,but they deserve respect and if people ever actually stopped wanting to get their picture taken with her than the lovely Scarlett Johansson should be worried.
This has to be the stupidest article ever written. Did they need to fill space in the gossip column?
There were no more gay storylines…they’ve used them all this week!! From George Michael to Clay and Lilo and the stars donations to stop the banning of gay marriage….we’ve read them all! 😀
RIP Cliff Burton. I love Metallica!!
Well AN, if you cared enough to comment, doesn’t that make you just as stupid? And it looks like other people found it entertaining (I know I did) so does that make them stupid? Or is it just you?
