Marc WebbSony Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that Marc Webb, who directed the Golden Globe-nominated (500) Days of Summer will helm Spider-Man 4Sam Raimi, who directed the previous three Spider-Man movies, pulled out of the fourth film due to time constraints and creative difficulties. Spider-Man 4, set to be released in summer 2012, will focus on the superhero as a teenager and will feature a new cast. Webb said in a statement he wasn’t taking over from Raimi as “that would be impossible, not to mention arrogant. I’m here because there’s an opportunity for ideas, stories and histories that will add a new dimension, canvas and creative voice to Spider-Man.” ~Alexandra Heilbron

Is he related to that guy that directed Quantum of Solace? Both directors are only good at low budget dramas and have never had any big picture experience. I am thinking Spider Man will suck, like how Quantum of Solace sucked.

    Straight to DVD.
