The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looking for Harry Osborn

Last week, casting for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was reported to be underway for Peter Parker’s best friend Harry Osborn. Actors such as Brady Corbet, Dane DeHaan, and Alden Ehrenreich were said to be frontrunners for the position. A source states that the part of Harry Osborn would be “dark and edgy” but according to Sony Pictures, “dark and edgy” is out and “athletic and good looking” is in. Now a new crop of actors are testing for the part. Actors Sam Claflin, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth and Boyd Holbrook are in the running, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rapper Jamie Foxx is lined up to play the villain Electro. The Amazing Spider-Man 2, directed by Marc Webb, is expected to be underway early in 2013 and will be released May 2, 2014. ~BJ Lasala

Just because James Franco is too old to play a high schooler doesnt mean you cant have second-hand Franco! JK but still give it to someone who isn’t in another film franchise already
