Sam Mendes’ Skyfall takes a plunge on its second week in theaters, falling to second place and making $41.5 million. Despite a commendable total gross of $161 million, this Daniel Craig action flick drops nearly half a star since its opening weekend, now sitting at 3.5 stars. Steven Spielberg’s presidential drama Lincoln comes in third place on its debut weekend, making a modest $21 million. Starring Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis as the 16th President of the United States, Lincoln is rated 4.5 stars by Tribute.ca users. Rich Moore’s animated video game comedy Wreck-It Ralph tumbles two spots down to fourth place on its third week in theaters, adding $18 million to its $121 million total gross and maintaing a high 4.5 stars on Tribute.ca. Finally, Robert Zemeckis’ aviation drama Flight stars Denzel Washington as an alcoholic captain and comes in for landing on its third week in theaters, dropping to fifth place and making $8.6 million.
